May Rescue

We are currently clearing a battery shed of 1500 hens. These are just a few of the girls we have saved in the last few weeks. We are rehabilitating as we speak and they will be ready for adoptions soon.

Part of the process with us is getting them ready for their new lives as normal chickens. This means trimming nails and reshaping beaks so they are able to scratch and eat normally. We also work and mite them as they are very prone to picking these up in the first days out of the battery farm.

Once ready, just after a few short weeks, they can we adopted.
